Dr. Theodor Yemenis Sail and Dive PADI IDC Professional Dive Training

 PADI IDC Divemaster Course

The PADI Divemaster Course is the first professional level course of the PADI training spectrum and is the stepping-stone and foundation training for any PADI Instructor Training.

The PADI Divemaster is a person who divers look up to, somebody divers can trust to make accurate judgements, somebody who shows exemplary diving skills, wears well maintained dive equipment with the offer of spare equipment to other divers, passes knowledge of dive theory effortlessly, handles logistics for student divers and fun divers and provides accurate dive briefings. The PADI Divemaster assists the dive operator with risk management offering rescue skills and prevention methods to reduce diver accidents and to act with common courtesy and ethnic role model behaviour at all time.

PADI divers across the world are looking for very special individuals to help them choose their diving environment to gain the maximum benefit from every dive.

EFRI Emergency First Response Instructor

PADI IDC Instructor Development Course Overview PADI Instructors and Divemasters can extend their training, usually in combination with their IDC to include the EFRI (Emergency First Response Instructor) Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. This will enable you to pass on great knowledge and care for divers and non-divers from this distinctive and supportive training agency.

The courses emphasize hands-on skills practice and demonstrations while learning how to motivate students, present course material confidently and effectively and how to present an effective scenario-based learning experience.

Through a multi-media approach of independent study, classroom sessions and practical teaching assignments, you learn to conduct Emergency First Response courses. This all important knowledge that you pass to others may one day save a life, so be proud to become an EFR Instructor.

PADI Instructor Examination (IE)

Whether you complete the IDC as a whole or partake in the OWSI Course you will finish the program with a PADI Instructor Examination which will give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt during your IDC. During the IE a PADI Instructor Examiner independently and objectively assesses your knowledge and skills, testing everything from dive theory to PADI training standards. PADI is the only certification organization that requires an objective, independent examination to qualify as a professional instructor. This balanced and consistent evaluation process is one of the hallmarks that make PADI professionals the most demanded and respected instructors in the dive industry.

PADI Instructor Examination Prerequisites:
• Successful completion of PADI IDC
